About the Role:


The Project Purchasing Analyst Intern will support the purchasing department in various projects, contributing to cost optimization, supplier management, and overall project success within Valeo .This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in automotive purchasing within a global manufacturing environment.

Seeking a year-round internal available to start as soon as possible to work full-time throughout the remainder of the summer, then on a reduced schedule during the school year pending class schedule.

About the Role:

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of supplier quotations and bids.

  • Support the purchasing team in negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers.

  • Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers and assess market trends.

  • Help maintain and update supplier databases and purchasing records.

  • Participate in cost analysis activities to identify saving opportunities for ongoing projects.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and production, to ensure alignment on project requirements.

  • Prepare reports and presentations on purchasing performance and project status.

  • Support the development and implementation of purchasing strategies.

  • Assist with administrative tasks within the purchasing department as needed.

What you Should Have:

  • Currently a student enrolled in courses pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance,, or related field.
