JOB OVERVIEW


We are seeking a QA/Test Automation Engineer to support test automation, manual testing, and quality assurance activities on a fast-paced technology engagement. The role will focus on Robot Framework-based automation, database and API testing, defect management, and direct client/stakeholder communication.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts using Robot Framework and Python
  • Perform Database (DB) and API testing across application layers
  • Leverage AI-powered testing tools and AI assistants (e.g., Claude) to accelerate automation workflows
  • Manage defect tracking, test management, and documentation in JIRA and Confluence
  • Design and execute detailed manual test cases where automation isn't yet in place
  • Independently manage client and stakeholder communication throughout the testing lifecycle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and QA teams
  • Report testing progress, defects, and risks clearly to stakeholders

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hands-on experience in test automation using Robot Framework and Python
  • Proficient in Database (DB) and API testing
  • Familiarity with AI-powered testing tools, including practical experience using AI assistants (e.g., Claude)
  • Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
  • Strong background in Manual Testing, with the ability to design and execute detailed test cases
  • Proven client-handling skills, with the ability to independently manage stakeholder communication
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

GOOD TO HAVE

  • Domain knowledge in Healthcare or Life Sciences
  • Familiarity with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems)
