Job Description

Nurse Practitioner - Acute Care / Hospitalist (Inpatient) - Warwick, RI


Seeking an experienced inpatient nurse practitioner for a hospital based career opportunity


Practitioner will work with the acute care/Hospitalist team provided care to inpatients admitted to the unit


Practitioner will provide preventative patient care in addition to assessing acute and chronic patient illnesses, planning and providing treatment programs and seeking consultation or referral as necessary.


Provide comprehensive health assessment, differential diagnoses, prescribes treatments, Plans, implements, supervises and evaluates delivery of program services to individuals and families.


Provide necessary care and discharge orders for Outpatient Surgery patients under the supervision of the attending physician


Detail appropriate progress note or other note in the clinical patient record to report whatever actions are taken.ย 


Advanced Practice experience in Hospital Medicine, Critical Care, and Admitting/Discharging required



Starting Salary $120K - $130K (DOE)
