Job description


The Enterprise Data Solutions (EDS) Analyst II role is the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and dashboard permissions and security group subject matter expert supporting the Data Analytics Department and all Google Cloud Platform and Dashboard (PowerBI/Tableau) users. Core responsibilities include day to day database administration support as well as maintaining security processes to support new and existing analytic capabilities.
Responsibilities
  • Manage User Platform Security Processes for GCP and Dashboard platforms
  • Ensure security processes are monitored and evaluated to meet company policies
  • Troubleshoot and solve access issues if/when data processes fail and users are unable to access
  • Administer and audit security groups and projects for secure and non-secure data
  • Answer support related questions around data security and logic
  • Partner with IT (Cyber Security) to support security processes
  • Partner with IAM team to support user access and security compliance
  • Act as escalation contact for all users. Escalate issues within the team and to supporting departments as needed.
  • Provide day-to-day database administration support
  • Assist users as needed with initial access to projects
  • Maintain documentation regarding database processes and security
  • Maintain the Active Directory / Okta environments in coordination with GBQ, PowerBI, and Tableau
  • Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of full-time relevant work experience in an Analytics or GBQ Database support role
  • Ability to set priorities, follow project schedules, and be detail oriented
  • Strong customer service, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong organizational, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Must be able to work with and communicate with people of various knowledge levels from the very technical to the casual user.
  • Experience coordinating with multiple departments and stakeholders
  • Candidates must have the ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
