This role is a data subject matter expert for sales leadersandwholesalersto better diagnose sales results. Through timely predictive + descriptive analytics + data visualization, the Analystwill continue building our capability to use analytics to drive growth.ย 

What you will do

  • Define,implement,andย monitorย comprehensive business strategies to drive organizational growth and achieve KPIs. Ensure ongoingstrategic alignment with short and long-term business objectivesย 
  • Enable effective, efficient working relationships withthe sales team, finance,and technology partnersย 
  • Engage and communicate strategic data programs across the Advice Canadabusinessย 
  • Oversee and support projects throughout the entire analytics lifecycleย 
  • Present and communicate the insights and recommendations generated in a visual and simplified languageย 
  • Work with large datasets that are not consistently clean or fully modelledย 
  • Learn how to retrieve data from these systems via multiple languagesย 
  • Build, implement andย maintainย data models, custom reports, and dashboardsย 

What you will bring

  • Master's degree in related field of study, or an equivalent combination of bachelor's degree and extensive related work experience.ย 
  • CFA certification is an asset.ย 
  • Experience within the Insurance & Financial Services sector would be an asset.ย 
  • Experience in working with data analytics tools (SQL, Python, R), Databases (SQL Server), Cloud (Azure), data visualization tools (Power BI).ย 
  • Experience working with raw data and manipulating large datasets.ย

The base salary for this position is between $65,800 - $109,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
