What Awaits You:

This internship provides students with the opportunity to gain practical experience in accounting, cash management, and financial operations while working alongside the finance team at Volvo Financial Services Canada (VFS Canada). Interns will contribute to key financial processes, including daily cash reconciliations, bank account reconciliations, investigation and resolution of cash variances, and support for month-end close activities. In addition, the intern will build job-ready skills and experience at a large Canadian-based global company.

VFS Canada is currently looking for post-secondary students for Fall Internship/Co-op paid positions to provide support with various projects and tasks to support the business.

The program offers the opportunity to interact with various departments, including Operations, Asset Management, Sales, and Finance.

What We Offer?

Internship Duration: September - December 2026

Location: 238 Wellington St. E Suite 300, Aurora, ON L4G 1J5, Canada

Hourly Wage Range: $21/hr - $23/hr (depending on experience, skills, and other factors) Vacancy: Replacement Position

You will work under direct supervision and perform the tasks requested alongside experienced professionals.

Specific responsibilities, projects, and/or activities are listed below, but may vary based on business demands and/or the individual Intern/Co-Op skill sets and development needs.

What You Will Do?
  • Provide general project support
  • Support daily activities of the departments
  • Assist with daily cash application processes, including accurate posting of payments, managing NSF chargebacks, and ensuring proper general ledger coding
  • Support the finance team in preparing timely and accurate bank reconciliations while supporting key accounting processes to maintain financial integrity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for various projects and initiatives
  • Perform statistical analysis and assist in data pre-processing
What You Bring?
  • Experience working with Power Platform (Power Apps, Automate, BI), Oracle SQL and/or data visualization tools would be highly suitable and preferable
  • Actively enrolled in college or university
  • Highly motivated, dynamic person who has a knack for detail, organization, patience and communication with others
  • Good verbal & written communication skills
  • Good organization & attention to detail skills

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
