Procurement Master Data & Analytics Analyst

Position Summary

The Procurement Master Data & Analytics Analyst is responsible for maintaining the integrity of procurement-related master data while transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic sourcing, supplier management, spend optimization, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate combines strong SAP master data expertise with analytical capabilities, enabling the organization to improve data quality, reporting accuracy, procurement performance, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Master Data Management

  • Create, maintain, and govern procurement-related master data within SAP, including:
  • Ensure master data accuracy, consistency, completeness, and compliance with established governance standards.
  • Perform data quality reviews, audits, and cleansing activities.
  • Develop and maintain master data policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Finance and IT teams to resolve data-related issues.

Procurement Analytics & Reporting

  • Collect, validate, analyze, and interpret procurement and supplier data from SAP and other business systems.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and reports using DOMO, Power BI, Excel, and other reporting tools.
  • Analyze spend, supplier performance, contract compliance, inventory trends, savings initiatives, and purchasing effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process optimization, and risk mitigation.
  • Support category management and strategic sourcing initiatives through data-driven analysis.
  • Generate ad hoc analyses and reports for procurement leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Monitor procurement performance metrics and recommend corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in Master Data Management, or Business Analytics.
  • Experience working with SAP ERP (S/4HANA), particularly Procurement and Supply Chain modules.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

  • SAP S/4HANA or SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) experience.
  • DOMO, Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence platform expertise.
  • Procurement, sourcing, supplier management, or spend analytics experience.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier lifecycle management, and contract management.
