About JAAR
JAAR is a proud, family-owned McDonald's franchise. We are looking for a high-energy District Supervisor to join our leadership team. We pride ourselves on a culture of respect, recognition, and growth, and we are looking for a leader who treats our restaurants and teams like their own family.
Role Overview
As a District Supervisor, you will provide leadership, coaching, and strategic direction for 2-4 McDonald's locations. You will partner directly with General Managers to maximize long-term sales and profitability while upholding the highest standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC).
Key Responsibilities
People & Leadership
  • Mentor & Coach: Guide General Managers to set SMART goals and implement Performance Improvement Plans as needed.
  • Culture Champion: Personally demonstrate the McDonald's "People Promise" by reinforcing respect, recognition, and our core values.
  • Talent Development: Mentor high-potential individuals, provide input on succession planning, and ensure all restaurants are adequately staffed through quality hiring.

Operational Excellence
  • Standard Bearer: Ensure 100% adherence to food safety, labor laws, and McDonald's QSC operational standards.
  • Field Presence: Travel regularly to assigned restaurants; conduct operations reviews across all dayparts once per month.
  • Problem Solving: Demonstrate "Customer-First" service by troubleshooting shift management and taking on-the-spot corrective actions.
  • Innovation: Lead the timely execution of new initiatives, product launches, and equipment upgrades.

Business Results
  • Financial Growth: Analyze sales trends and identify opportunities to meet or exceed the performance of the top 25% of comparable restaurants.
  • Asset Protection: Complete monthly cash and security audits; use corrective action where policies are not followed to ensure the safety of personnel and assets.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate on annual business plans and reinvestment projects.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proven experience in Restaurant Field Operations or a similar field.
  • Must be able to work various shifts each day of the week.

  • Current Management ServSafe Certification.
  • Proven Project Management and implementation skills.
  • Strong People & Relationship Management skills with the ability to influence others.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and data analysis skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage conflicting time constraints.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
  • Mobility: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (often an entire shift) while supervising restaurant operations.
  • Physical Stamina: Capacity to endure the rigors of frequent travel between restaurant locations.
  • Manual Dexterity: Ability to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects and tools, and perform repetitive movements when assisting teams.
  • Communication: Must be able to speak clearly and understand the speech of others in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Lifting: Ability to lift, carry, or move materials of various weights as needed for restaurant support.
