Job Description
Data is the backbone of everything we build, track, and deliver. As our Master Data Analyst, you'll own the integrity and structure of material master data across our enterprise systems, ensuring that Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations are all working from a single, trusted source of truth.
The ideal candidate is for this high-impact role is someone who is passionate about data, understands manufacturing workflows, and thrives at the intersection of systems, process, and people. You'll collaborate across global teams, drive data governance standards, and directly support the business decisions that keep world-class packaging machinery moving from design to delivery.
Qualifications
Basic requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in related fields, or commensurate experience
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with material master data management within an ERP environment (SAP, PeopleSoft, or equivalent)
  • Strong working knowledge of data structures, hierarchies, naming conventions, and governance frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience with data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis - pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data modeling
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally across engineering, supply chain, IT, and finance teams in a global environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills

Preferred qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with SAP material master configuration, views, and workflows
  • Familiarity with engineering BOMs (Bills of Materials), part numbering systems, or product data management (PDM/PLM) in a manufacturing context
  • Experience supporting ERP system migrations, integrations, or upgrades
  • Exposure to business intelligence or data visualization tools - Power BI, Tableau, or similar
  • Background working with engineering or operations data in an industrial manufacturing environment - machinery BOMs, part obsolescence tracking, order metrics
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and documented data stewardship practices
  • Experience training or guiding end users on data entry standards and ERP best practices

Additional Information
The anticipated starting salary for this position is $80,000.
Compensation for roles at Syntegon varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
