Description
Join Rural Mutual Insurance's Actuarial team and help drive data-informed decisions that support profitable growth and business success. The Actuarial Analyst performs pricing, reserving, forecasting, and analytical work within a Property & Casualty insurance environment. This position works closely with Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Product Development, and Leadership to analyze business performance, evaluate risk, support regulatory requirements, and provide strategic recommendations. In this role, you'll receive competitive compensation based on experience, education, and actuarial exam progress, plus actuarial exam support and professional development opportunities.
This is a remote position with periodic on-site presence required. Candidates must live and work in Wisconsin and have eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Successful completion of one or more CAS examinations preferred. (Exam progress is a factor in determining salary)
• One to five years of actuarial experience in Property & Casualty insurance, actuarial consulting, or a related environment. (Experience is a factor in determining salary)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SQL, Python, R, SAS, Power BI, or similar analytical tools is preferred.
• Experience with pricing, reserving, predictive modeling, or regulatory filings is preferred.
