Job Summary: We are seeking a Carbon Data & Verification Manager to lead carbon data reporting and verification activities for landfill methane mitigation projects. This role is responsible for data integrity, carbon accounting, registry-ready documentation, and cross-functional coordination that supports verification cycles and carbon credit issuance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead preparation and submission of carbon project data, monitoring reports, and supporting documentation for verification and credit issuance.
  • Own the accuracy, completeness, and traceability of project data used in carbon accounting and reporting.
  • Coordinate with third-party verifiers and maintain organized, audit-ready records, calculations, and supporting documentation.
  • Oversee data quality checks, reporting workflows, and issue resolution across monitoring and telemetry inputs.
  • Partner with operations, engineering, finance, and commercial teams to support project performance, forecasting, and registry compliance.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, sustainability, data analytics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in carbon accounting, environmental reporting, landfill gas operations, emissions data management, or verification support.
  • Experience with greenhouse gas calculations, technical reporting, and data quality controls in a regulated or highly documented environment.
  • Strong collaboration, analytical, and project management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with carbon registries, methodology requirements, and verification processes for landfill methane or similar projects.
  • Experience with telemetry, databases, dashboards, or other systems used to manage environmental or operational data.
  • Background working with landfill gas systems, biogas projects, or environmental compliance reporting.
