LEAD DATA SYSTEMS DEVELOPER — ARMY LOGISTICS INTEGRATION / ATO (SCOS)
Location: Redstone Arsenal / Huntsville, Alabama (on site)
Employment: Full time; contingent upon contract award

Axyde Analytics is recruiting a Lead Data Systems Developer for our proposed SCOS program. This key-personnel position leads custom software development and integration supporting Army logistics analytics and is responsible for disciplined design, testing, documentation, security coordination, and Authorization to Operate (ATO) navigation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead requirements analysis, architecture, secure development, integration, testing, release, and lifecycle documentation.
• Design controlled data pipelines, analytical tools, interfaces, and automations using authorized Army data and environments.
• Lead ATO/RMF planning and produce technical evidence, configuration, test, security, and operating documentation.
• Establish version control, code review, automated testing, defect management, change control, and rollback practices.
• Coordinate with logistics and data leads so software directly supports mission workflows and traceable decisions.
• Supervise and mentor the Junior Systems Developer.
• Prevent unauthorized production write-back, data movement, or deployment and comply with Government cybersecurity direction.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated technical experience.
• Substantial experience leading software development, data integration, testing, and technical documentation.
• Experience with federal or DoD RMF/ATO processes, secure development, access control, configuration management, and NIST-aligned controls.
• Proficiency in modern programming, SQL, APIs/data integration, version control, and automated testing.
• Strong architecture, technical-writing, troubleshooting, and team-leadership skills.
• Ability to work full time on site at Redstone Arsenal.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Army logistics-system, LMP, GCSS-Army, DPAS, STAMIS, AMCOM, aviation, or missile experience.
• Experience deploying solutions in Government-authorized environments.
• Active Secret clearance.
SECURITY AND EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
All SCOS personnel must have or be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance for the duration of the contract. Before performing classified work or charging labor requiring classified access, personnel must satisfy applicable Government eligibility, access, investigation, training, and site-access requirements. U.S. citizenship is required where necessary for clearance eligibility. Employment is contingent upon contract award, completion of Axyde’s hiring process, and satisfaction of all Government security and access requirements.
