Manager, Data Strategy

The Manager, Data Strategy will serve as the day-to-day lead for client reporting and measurement deliverables, ensuring outputs are accurate, insightful, and directly tied to business goals. This role requires 4+ years of experience in data strategy, analytics, or media and will focus on building client relationships, managing reporting deliverables, and collaborating across internal teams (Strategy, Media, Client Services, Data Science, and Project Delivery) to ensure reporting tells a clear, compelling story that drives action.

While the role does not include direct reports initially, the Manager will have significant ownership over deliverables, client communications, and cross-functional collaboration, setting the foundation for future growth into leadership roles.

What you'll do

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Strategy, Media, Data, Client Services, and Project Delivery) to ensure reporting outputs are integrated, relevant, and actionable.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within reporting data and proactively recommend optimizations.
  • Contribute to the refinement of reporting templates, dashboards, and measurement frameworks to improve clarity, consistency, and storytelling.
  • Support advanced analytics and modeling initiatives in partnership with Data Science, providing input on reporting needs and client context.

About you

  • 4+ years of experience in data strategy, analytics, marketing, or media measurement.
  • Proven ability to manage reporting deliverables, analyze data, and communicate insights clearly to clients and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong understanding of marketing and media (TV, digital and traditional) performance metrics, reporting tools, and visualization platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, Looker, Data Studio).
  • Experience working with ad-tech/mar-tech tools, tagging/measurement systems (e.g., Google Tag Manager), and campaign performance data.
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to link data insights to client KPIs and strategic imperatives.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills; able to manage multiple deliverables across teams and timelines.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint (or Google equivalents).
