Summary:
The Senior Storage Engineer will be a part of the data center support group, tasked w/ configuring SAN/NAS systems, managing backup solutions, & maintaining the security of the data center.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
  • This includes monitoring & providing daily support to ensure the health & availability of IT systems/infrastructure, both on premises & for cloud-based programs & applications.
  • Responsibilities will involve planning, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, & managing all Storage servers & applications. The role involves designing, implementing, & overseeing an organization's data storage systems, working w/ networks, databases, & other high-capacity systems.
  • Performs a variety of tasks.
  • May lead & direct the work of others. Support IT Supply Technician as assigned.

Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
  • Skills include VMWare vSphere, Linux Red Hat, Windows Server, SQL, MySQL, EMC SAN technologies & applications, & Active Directory.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BA/BS from an accredited college or university w/ a minimum of 5+ Yrs of EXP -or- Substitute w/ AA/AS w/ 7+ Yrs of EXP -or- Substitute w/ 9+ Yrs of EXP serving as storage engineer.
  • Training, Certifications, EXP, & Clearance Requirements:
    • IAT Level II (CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) Certification & applicable CE/OS Certification.
  • Must have EXP w/ SAN technologies in a highly virtualized & converged environment & maintaining a high availability datacenter.

Preferred Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):
  • Secret Clearance

Pay and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $105,950.40 to $119,194.20 annually.
