Job Description

Title: DLP Engineer

Location: Plano, TX

Duration 12+ Months (Good Chance of Extension)

Description:

  • Proven experience regarding architecture and design of technical solutions, preferably DLP related. Develop secure system and network architectures.
  • Six or more years of experience in Information Security and/or Identity and Access Management Area
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands on experience working with Databases (Oracle DB and SQL preferred)
  • Proven ability to effectively work with large sets of data. Sorting, comparing, extracting, using MS Access, Excel, Scripting or any other method.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working with MS Exchange and Active Directory.
  • Managing user objects in AD. In depth familiar with all user objects attributes. Must be hands on with Active Directory Users and Computers and ADSI Edit Tools.
  • Minimum of 4 years in supporting and configuring network devices. Computers, Switches, Firewalls, Routers. TCP/IP configuration, DNS, DFS, DHCP
  • Configure data discovery scans including target IPs, necessary credentials, and schedule.
  • Analyze data discovery reports and be able to prioritize remediation efforts based on the quantity and type of data elements found.
  • Discuss findings and their recommended remediation steps with business unit data owners, application owners, and/or infrastructure owners.
  • Identify structured or unstructured data repositories that pose the greatest compliance and security risks.
  • Determine best methods for backup, logging, user access, and other administrative responsibilities.

Must Haves:

  • Develop secure system and network architectures.
  • Information Security Architect experience with limited supervision applying previous technical skills to recommend, implement, support, improve, and operate information security controls.
  • 1 Year of DLP experience is required, must have implemented DLP, understanding expressions, analysis, policy drivers, and rules work, etc.

Preferred/ Nice-to-haves:

  • CISSP certification
  • MCSE , or any Unix\Linux certifications
