  • Develop advanced analytical solutions using SAS, SQL, Python, and visualization tools to evaluate policy performance and tradeoffs.
  • Optimize acquisition strategies by balancing approval rates, delinquency/loss outcomes, profitability, and regulatory requirements.
  • Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leaders and key business partners.
  • Partner with Product, Finance, Operations, Technology, Control Management, Compliance, and Fair Lending to design and refine acquisition criteria.
  • Lead end-to-end implementation of credit criteria changes, including business requirements, validation testing, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Establish monitoring frameworks and reporting to provide timely insights into performance, drift, and emerging risks.
  • Maintain robust governance, documentation, and controls across the credit criteria lifecycle to support audit, regulatory, and internal review needs.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance underwriting capabilities through new data sources, automation, and process improvements.
  • Coach and develop junior analysts while promoting analytical rigor, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in risk management, credit strategy, analytics, consumer/business lending, or financial services.
  • Demonstrate hands-on ownership of acquisition credit criteria, underwriting policy, or credit decision frameworks.

  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority.
  • Manage multiple priorities with strong project management and end-to-end execution discipline.
