Job description

Geo Owl is seeking a Computer Scientist / Data Scientist to support the National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC) at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. This position supports special projects, data analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives, and technical mission requirements in support of classified space intelligence operations.
The selected candidate will develop data-driven solutions, support software and automation efforts, integrate diverse data sources, conduct technical and analytical research, and collaborate with government stakeholders and mission partners. Responsibilities include supporting AI/ML initiatives, developing data workflows, creating decision-support products, and contributing to complex technical projects in a high-security environment.
Required Qualifications:
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, AI/ML, Operations Research, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in data science, software development, AI/ML, analytics, engineering, or technical research
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, C++, or a similar programming language
  • Experience with data analysis, visualization, and problem-solving in complex technical environments

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or Special Access Programs
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
  • Knowledge of space systems, counterspace analysis, or intelligence operations
  • Experience developing executive-level briefings and decision-support products

This is an on-site position supporting advanced space intelligence and national security missions.
