Position Overview
Our By Light Implementation team, the premier provider of innovative Information Technology (IT) services and communications support to the Department of Defense and Federal Agencies is growing. We're increasing our team to support the US Army Comprehensive Modernization (COMPMOD). The program includes conducting survey and design, engineer, furnish, install, secure, and test (EFIS&T) solutions to include non-secure internet protocol router (NIPR), secure internet protocol router (SIPR), Wi-Fi, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), Inside Plant (ISP), Outside Plant (OSP), and Voice Modernization at U.S. Army Base/Post/Camp/Station (B/P/C/S) across the Continental United States (CONUS).
The Quality Control Manager (QC Manager) is instrumental in overseeing the quality assurance processes within an organization. In this role, you are tasked with developing quality testing protocols, conducting audits, and ensuring that all products or services meet specific regulatory and company standards. Identifies and resolves quality issues but also works proactively to establish preventive measures with a goal of ensuring optimal product quality, enhancing customer satisfaction and minimizing waste and production costs
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain an effective Quality Control Plan (QCP)
  • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures.
  • Summarize service requirements into performance objectives that relate directly to mission essential items
  • Develop and implement procedures to identify, prevent, and ensure non-recurrence of defective services.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of production processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance data.
  • Lead and train quality control teams.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Handle customer complaints and provide solutions to quality issues.
  • Maintain detailed records of quality control operations.
  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Review and update quality control documentation regularly.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure quality of raw materials.
  • Oversee product testing and validation procedures.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to upper management.
  • Develop continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
  • Ensure safety and regulatory compliance throughout the production process.

Required Experience/Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • Certification from professional bodies like ASQ (American Society for Quality).
  • Experience with quality management systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality control software.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
