QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER

Full Time Jacksonville, FL, US

Position Summary

Person will be responsible for taking full control of CQC plan for Sauer on a project at the Norfolk Naval Station VA. Person will be responsible for overall management of the CQC plan and having full authority to act in all QC matters.

Essential Functions
  • Capable of coordinating with many Subcontractors
  • Efficient/Able to plan days, weeks in advance
  • Detail driven
  • Skillful communicator with client/subcontractors
  • Able to conduct QCM weekly meeting in a highly professional manner and instill confidence in client in the QC operations
  • Perform/coordinate inspections
  • Upload and manage QC data on a daily basisExperience with high end renovations
  • Perform submittal review functions
  • Proficient completing required daily documentation
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering
  • Candidate must have 5 yearsโ€™ DOD experience 10 yearsโ€™ experience as a QC Manager on similar projects
  • Certificate for "Construction Quality Management for Contractors" from USACE
  • 30 Hour OSHA in construction
  • Excellent knowledge of quality control inspection standards, procedures and applicable codes required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
