Job Description
Arvato is seeking a detail-oriented Cycle Counter to support accurate inventory management and the integrity of warehouse operations. In this role, you will perform scheduled cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and work closely with Operations, Quality, and Inventory Control teams to identify and resolve issues. You will also help maintain proper inventory records, labeling, and product accuracy while contributing to a safe, efficient, and high-performing warehouse environment.
YOUR TASKS
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts based on A, B, and C SKU classifications.
  • Physically count inventory and compare quantities against WMS/SAP system records.
  • Research inventory discrepancies and identify root causes.
  • Validate SKU, quantity, location, lot/batch, and pallet information.
  • Complete recounts when variances are identified and document findings.
  • Investigate inventory adjustments, mis-picks, shorts, overages, damages, and misplaced product.
  • Ensure inventory is stored in the correct location and properly labeled.
  • Partner with Receiving, Picking, Shipping, and Quality teams to resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate cycle count records and provide daily/weekly inventory accuracy reporting.
  • Escalate recurring discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist with physical inventories, annual inventories, and customer audits.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and warehouse procedures.
  • Operate forklifts/reach trucks when required and properly trained.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of warehouse, inventory control, or cycle count experience preferred.
  • Experience working with a WMS, SAP, or similar inventory system.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and investigate discrepancies.
  • Basic Excel/data-entry skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Forklift/reach truck experience preferred.
