Overview of the Program Manager:

The Program Manager plays a critical role in driving the successful delivery of complex projects within the organization. The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure alignment with strategic business objectives and timely completion within budget. The role requires collaboration across multiple departments and stakeholders within all levels of the organization to manage resources, mitigate risks, and resolve issues proactively. The Program Manager will also contribute to the continuous improvement of project management methodologies and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Ultimately, this position ensures that projects deliver measurable value and support the company’s growth and operational excellence. This is a hybrid position based out of our Brookfield, WI office on a hybrid schedule with a current in office expectation of 1 day a week

Duties and Responsibilities of the Program Manager:

  • Lead end-to-end management of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams andmaintaintransparent communication among stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and performance metrics;identifyand resolve potential issues quickly.
  • Prepare and present regular status updates, stakeholder reports, and project documentation to leadership.
  • Implement projectmanagementbest practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support change management efforts related to project deliverables and organizational impacts.
  • Serve as theinitialescalation point for assigned programs/projects and ensure mitigation strategies are executed effectively.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the project portfolio.
  • Collaborate closely with Development Managers, Relationship Management, Finance, Project Managers, and Scrum Masters to ensure consistent communication and results across the organization.

Skills and Experience of the Program Manager:

  • 8+ years of experience managing complex projects in a professional setting with experience in the finance, wealth management or technology industries preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Solid understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Ability to plan, execute, andmonitorprojects using structured methodologies.
  • Proven communication for coordinating diverse teams and ensuring alignment.
  • Organizational skills to balance multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Proactive problem-solving to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Proficiency with PM software and financial acumen to support budget tracking preferred.
  • Experience using tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or Smartsheet.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
