Job description

IAT Insurance Group has an immediate opening for Enterprise Program Manager from our Milwaukee, Wisconsin or Naperville, Illinois location. The ideal candidate will lead and coordinate large-scale, cross-functional data initiatives across the organization. This role owns program-level governance, planning, and delivery for complex, multi-team data programs, applying Agile practices and JIRA-based tracking to keep execution transparent and aligned to business priorities
This role works a hybrid schedule that requires working from the office Monday through Wednesday, with the option of working Thursday and Friday remotely.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of large, cross-functional enterprise data projects, coordinating dependencies across multiple teams and workstreams.
  • Establish and maintain Agile program governance - sprint cadences, backlog health, release planning, and program-level ceremonies (PI planning, scrum-of-scrums, retrospectives).
  • Own program-level tracking and reporting in JIRA, including custom dashboards, epic/initiative hierarchies, cross-team boards, and portfolio-level views.
  • Partner with engineering, data, product, and business stakeholders to define scope, timelines, resourcing, and success criteria for major initiatives.
  • Identify, track, and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies across concurrent programs; escalate appropriately.
  • Drive consistent status reporting and executive-level communication, translating technical progress into business impact.
  • Facilitate change management and organizational alignment across teams with differing workflows and delivery models.
  • Continuously improve program management processes, tooling, and reporting standards across the organization.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:
Must-Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 7+ years of program/project management experience, including managing large-scale, multi-team, or enterprise-level initiatives or equivalent experience
  • Equivalent experience is defined as 11+ years of program/project management experience, including managing large-scale, multi-team, or enterprise-level initiatives
  • Practical, hands-on knowledge of Agile project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or similar), with experience running Agile ceremonies and coaching teams.
  • Extensive, hands-on experience with JIRA - including administration, custom workflows, dashboards, advanced JQL, and portfolio/program-level views (e.g., Advanced Roadmaps).
  • Demonstrated success managing large, complex projects or programs with multiple dependencies, stakeholders, and delivery teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • To qualify, applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require VISA sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment purposes.

Preferred to Have:
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent certification
  • Experience in the insurance industry (P&C preferred), with familiarity with insurance business processes, data, and regulatory considerations.
  • Experience within data management, data platform, or technology modernization programs.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, Power BI, Azure DevOps, or similar enterprise collaboration/reporting platforms.

Compensation:
Please note, that the annual gross salary range associated with this posting is $82,960 - $180,450. Actual salaries will vary based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and geographical location related to this specific role. The total compensation will include a base salary, performance-based bonus opportunities, 401(K) match, profit-sharing opportunities, and more.
