You'll work with modern data tools and platforms to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and workflows, helping transform raw data into meaningful, actionable information. You'll receive guidance from experienced engineers while gaining exposure to data architecture, data processing, and analytics workflows in an enterprise environment.

We are currently looking for a highly motivated student to join us in our Toronto, Ontario, Canada office for a 4-month co-op, running from January 5th - April 22nd2027. This is a hybrid position, where you are expected to be in the office Tuesday-Thursday, with the opportunity to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to a team of data engineers focused on building reliable, scalable data systems

  • Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and workflows

  • Assist with data ingestion, transformation, and preparation for reporting and analytics use cases

  • Collaborate with engineering and business teams to understand data requirements and support solutions

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • Experience with SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java)

  • Interest in data engineering concepts, including data pipelines and data processing

  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket)

  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to data tools (e.g., Spark, Databricks, or similar technologies)

  • Basic understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, or data warehousing

  • Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)

  • Understanding of large-scale data processing concepts
