Job description

The salary range for this position is 60,000 to 70,000$/year.

The roles and responsibilities of Data Processing Clerk includes:

    • Maintain receiving process, inbound pack list, GR's, inbound trailer booking
    • Maintain, reconcile in transit discrepancies and POD process
  • Maintain daily inbound/outbound aging reports
    • Maintain outbound processes, print and dispatch orders
    • Maintain outbound shipment, bill of lading process
    • Maintain and monitor all outbound processes
    • Maintain HAZMAT shipment records
    • Communicate with the dealer network regarding carrier changes
    • Coordinate carrier scheduling and daily freight pickups with major carriers
    • Track outbound shipments and provide tracking data or proof of delivery to internal teams upon request.Assist management with warehouse initiatives
  • Other Processes
    • Closely work with shift team lead and FLM to align on processes and achieve shift KPIs
    • Communicate with warehouse employees, customer service, ops support to resolve order discrepancies, backorders, or inventory holds.
    • Fact finding and data analysis for root cause analysis
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
    • Participate in Quality/Environmental programs as directed by management
    • Support material handlers and team leads with data inquiries and problem solving
    • Knowledge of inbound and outbound systems
    • Manage functional mailboxes
    • Daily reporting, KPI and scoreboard
    • Maintain stock management inventory adjustments
    • Maintain dealer return credits/MDR
    • Emballage reporting / checking and maintaining operational supplies
    • Interaction with dealers, resolving customer queries
    • Interaction with Mack / Volvo /VCE / Penta corporate functions
    • Maintain cleanliness of the offices, break room, media storage and pack/stock stations.
    • Complies with company rules and policies and follows instructions from management personnel.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years related experience, knowledge of general office procedures. Distribution related experience inbound and outbound processes.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work under minimal amount of supervision.
  • Organization, typing, data entry skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, thoroughness, decision making, independence, analyzing information, results driven and high energy level.
  • PC experience in MS Office programs, Word, Excel, etc.

Physical Demands

  •   Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy when handling large volumes of numerical data and SKU codes.
  •   Multitasking: Ability to switch fluidly between desk-based data entry and active floor-based shipping tasks.
  •   Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand or walk for extended periods, and bend/reach safely in a warehouse environment.
  •   Ability to rotate and work day shift if required
