Job Summary:
Moore is a company that specializes in data processing and printing solutions. The Data Programmer role involves working with large datasets to analyze, plan, and execute complex processing workflows, focusing on creating end-to-end solutions for data transformations and large-scale production preparation.
Responsibilities:
• Read and follow complex job processing instructions.
• Plan and execute a data processing workflow.
• Receive, analyze and manipulate data using third-party and in-house software.
• Work with data in a variety of formats including Access, Excel, comma-delimited, xml and fixed length.
• Write scripts using C++ syntax to perform data transformations.
• Create digital layouts for variable data printing in Quadient Inspire Designer.
• Prepare files for output to a wide range of printing devices.
• Perform quality assurance checks for all work.
• Work closely with the customer service team and production staff.
• Serve as technical support for all projects worked on.
• Stay current with regulations pertaining to the printing and mailing industry.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
• Proficiency working in a Microsoft Windows environment.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• Intrinsically motivated and have a strong commitment to quality.
• Ability to plan and prioritize projects.
• Ability to work alone as well as in a team environment.
• Experience with VB.Net, C# or C++.
• Ability to be present and available at the scheduled times and location as outlined in the work schedule.
Preferred:
