Role Overview

You will act as a subject matter expert within the Item Coding & Placement team, driving the highest standards of quality and efficiency in the delivery of Circana services. Your work will ensure alignment with marketplace demands and business requirements.

Data Input Team is one of the most impactful teams inside Operation in Circana focusing on item classification. This role requires meticulous planning, proactive communication, and the timely execution of all item coding and placement tasks, consistently meeting the quality standards defined by our SLAs.

Success in this position depends on demonstrating strong planning and execution skills, a systems-thinking mindset, and excellent problem-solving capabilities driving high quality and high efficiency for our clients (Internal and externals)

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute all item coding and placement activities with accuracy and timeliness
  • Ensure all deliverables meet or exceed quality standards as defined by internal SLAs to achieve company, department, team and personal objectives.
  • Apply meticulous planning and strong organizational skills to manage workloads effectively
  • Maintain proactive and clear communication with relevant stakeholders throughout the production process
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve issues using a structured, problem-solving approach
  • Continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency
  • To participate in projects to implement new products, services and processes.
  • Act as the SPOC for other business functions providing input to client proposals & meetings as appropriate

  • Consistent achievement of SLA targets for timeliness and quality
  • High accuracy rates in item coding and placement outputs
  • Reduction in rework, errors, and escalations
  • Effective prioritization and delivery of tasks and projects within deadlines
  • Positive feedback from internal and external stakeholders

  • Effective use of systems for managing BAU and projects.

 

Requirements

Must have:

  • Strong planning, organizational, and execution skills
  • System-thinking mindset with high attention to detail
  • Highly self-motivated, accountable and committed person
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in relevant tools and systems (e.g., Excel, data processing platforms, or internal coding systems)
  • English B2, both written and spoken

Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Proven experience in data operations or a related field

Location: This position can be located in Madrid working from office one day per week.
