Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Data Processing Manager oversees the daily operations of data processing, ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant handling of patient, payer, and financial information. This role manages staff responsible for data processing, payment posting, claim reconciliation, payer reprocessing, entering charges and workflow optimization while leveraging the EHR system to maintain data integrity and operational efficiency. The manager collaborates with revenue cycle teams to support organizational goals.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, required
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Health Information Management or a related field (or equivalent experience), preferred
  • Three (3) or more years of leadership or supervisory experience, required
  • Experience using Epic, preferably within Revenue Cycle modules, preferred

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong discretion and ability to handle confidential information
  • Composure in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies
  • Dependable, punctual, and highly detail-oriented
  • Strong multitasking and independent-work capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Accurate documentation skills
  • Ability to follow established workflows consistently
  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance
  • Knowledge of electronic data interchange (EDI), ERA, EFT, Lockbox, and clearinghouse processes, preferred

WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
