Position Description:

CGI is seeking Data Intake Operator II to support critical data processing and operational activities within a fast paced production environment. This role is responsible for processing, validating, monitoring, and supporting data exchanges between internal systems and external clients while ensuring compliance with established service level agreements and data quality standards.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross functional teams to support data integrity, troubleshoot operational issues, conduct testing activities, and provide technical support to clients. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of customer service and operational excellence.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Process and monitor inbound and outbound data files while meeting established service level agreements

. Review, analyze, and validate data files to ensure compliance with data quality and formatting standards

. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production processing issues and data exceptions

. Support data exchange activities with external clients, including account setup and technical assistance

. Conduct user acceptance testing and system validation activities for operational enhancements and code changes

. Collaborate with data integrity, operations, and technical teams to ensure timely and accurate processing

. Monitor system alerts and error messages, escalating issues and communicating resolutions to stakeholders

. Document operational procedures and workflows to support consistency and knowledge sharing

. Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information in accordance with organizational policies

. Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend operational efficiencies

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. 1+ year of experience in a customer facing or operations focused environment

. Experience working with data files, file validation, or data processing operations

. Working knowledge of SQL query creation, review, or troubleshooting

. Experience working within UNIX or Linux based environments

. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel

. Knowledge of file transfer technologies, file systems, and data exchange processes

. Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills

. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment with changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

. Experience supporting higher education, student loan, or financial services environments

. Experience with SFTP, SSH, and secure file transfer processes

. Bilingual Spanish language skills

. Experience providing technical support via phone and email

. Demonstrated ability to remain effective under pressure

. Knowledge of data quality, compliance reporting, or operational controls

Education

Associate degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and military service

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $38,800.00 $70,800.00.
