Hybrid 4 days onsite in either Pittsburgh, PA or New York, NY

Our client seeks two Data Product Owner/Data Steward professionals to help stand up a new data infrastructure and establish governance, stewardship, quality controls, and data standards. One role will focus on technical engagement with engineers and end users. The second role will be client-facing with Treasury and Operations stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $85.00 to $90.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as Data Product Owner/Data Steward across governance, stewardship, and quality initiatives.
  • Partner with engineers and end users to define and deliver technical solutions.
  • Engage Treasury and Operations stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Lead data mapping efforts to support a new data environment.
  • Define and maintain data standards, quality controls, and data quality contracts.
  • Support master data management for clients, products, and securities.
  • Contribute to data modeling, including conceptual and physical models.
  • Document and communicate data lineage and related controls.
Experience Requirements:
  • Proven background in data governance and data stewardship.
  • Hands-on experience with data mapping and data quality contracts.
  • Master data management experience covering clients, products, and securities.
  • Experience with data modeling at conceptual and physical levels.
  • Working knowledge of data lineage concepts and practices.
  • Experience with Collibra and Informatica-related data governance solutions.
  • Ability to bridge business and technical teams and convey requirements to architects and developers.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for executive and Treasury-facing interactions.
