2000 16th St, Denver, Colorado, 80202-5117, United States of America
Learning Technology Platform Manager
Location: Remote or Denver Hybrid (Preferred)
The Opportunity
DaVita is elevating learning capabilities for 70,000+ teammates across the Village. Within Wisdom, our enterprise learning organization, the Learning Technology function owns the platforms (LMS/LXP) and associated architecture and integrations that power everything from clinical onboarding to leadership development, and an expanding ecosystem of experience, workflow, and AI-enabled technologies.
We are seeking a Learning Technology Platform Manager to co-own this ecosystem. This is not a system administrator role; it is a platform leadership role. You will serve as the decision-making authority for enterprise learning platforms - owning vendor relationships, roadmaps, integrations, and operational standards - while continuously scanning the market for emerging capabilities and shepherding them from discovery to enterprise adoption. You will be one of two Platform Managers who together ensure resilient, uninterrupted operation of systems the entire Village depends on.
An ideal candidate is a versatile learning technologist: deep enough to govern a business-critical platform, broad enough to evaluate what comes next, and confident leading matrixed teams to deliver both.
Your Impact
As a key member of the Learning Technology team, you will:
  • Own the Platform: Serve as platform owner and decision authority for assigned enterprise learning platforms, directing operational execution, governing configuration and business logic, and ensuring continuity for systems with true uptime requirements.
  • Shape What's Next: Lead technology discovery for the learning ecosystem - market scanning, structured evaluation through enterprise governance, and piloting emerging capabilities (including AI-enabled learning tools) in partnership with the business.
  • Lead Through Influence: Direct matrixed teammates and partner teams across Wisdom, enterprise Technology, and operational support functions to enable platform functionality - leadership without formal authority, at enterprise scale.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Platform Management & Ownership
Own management of assigned learning technology platforms, including vendor relationship management, roadmap alignment, release and configuration governance, and standardized processes. Serve as escalation and decision-making authority for platform operations, leading matrixed teammates and partner teams to enable platform functionality and ensure continuity of operations.
Integrations & Data
Own technical integrations and data flows between learning platforms and enterprise systems, ensuring data integrity, reliability, and continuity of business-critical operations.
Technology Discovery & Innovation
Evaluate, pilot, and mature emerging learning technologies - from market scanning and structured intake through enterprise governance gates to operational adoption - in partnership with business stakeholders.
Ecosystem Resilience
Maintain cross-platform ownership depth across the learning technology ecosystem, serving as secondary owner for platforms beyond your primary assignment to ensure coverage of business-critical systems.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required; Master's Degree in a related field (such as technology management or adult learning).
- 4+ years' experience managing or administering enterprise learning technology platforms (LMS, LXP, or related systems).
- Experience managing platform governance, standardized processes, vendor relationships, and platform roadmaps.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience evaluating, piloting, and implementing emerging technologies - including AI-enabled learning tools - within enterprise governance processes.
- Proficiency in system integrations, APIs, and data flows between enterprise platforms.
- Certified Expert in Cornerstone On Demand, or ability to attain within first 12 months.
Location & Travel
-Prefer Denver, CO-based (in-office downtown Tues/Wed/Thurs); open to remote for the right candidate.
-Travel required: 10-20%.
What We'll Provide:
More than just pay, our DaVita Rewards package connects teammates to what matters most. Teammates are eligible to begin receiving benefits on the first day of the month following or coinciding with one month of continuous employment. Below are some of our benefit offerings.
  • Comprehensive benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, paid time off, PTO cash out
  • Support for you and your family: Family resources, EAP counseling sessions, access Headspace®, backup child and elder care, maternity/paternity leave and more
  • Professional development programs: DaVita offers a variety of programs to help strong performers grow within their career and also offers on-demand virtual leadership and development courses through DaVita's online training platform StarLearning.
