Roles & Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
• Platform Observability & Reliability Engineering
• Design and implement platform-level observability covering metrics, logging, monitoring, and alerting.
• Establish reliability engineering practices to ensure platform stability, resilience, and operational confidence.
• Define standards for platform health, reliability, and operational readiness.
• Platform CI/CD & Developer Productivity
• Build platform CI/CD frameworks that support standardized, repeatable, and reliable deployments.
• Create developer productivity tooling, templates, and workflows to reduce onboarding friction and improve integration speed for platform consumers.
• Enable self-service capabilities for teams integrating with the platform.
• Infrastructure Platform Engineering
• Design and engineer shared infrastructure platform capabilities to support scalable and reliable data workloads.
• Establish reusable infrastructure patterns, guardrails, and standards for platform services.
• AI-Driven Platform Automation & Optimization
• Develop and integrate AI-driven automation to optimize platform operations, performance, and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual intervention through intelligent automation and optimization frameworks.
• Enterprise Data Ingestion Framework
• Design and implement a standardized enterprise data ingestion framework, including support for near-real-time (NRT) ingestion patterns.
• Ensure ingestion frameworks are reliable, observable, and reusable across teams and domains.
• Marketing Domain Onboarding & Adoption
• Create and execute a Marketing Domain Onboarding & Adoption Program to improve platform adoption.
• Develop onboarding documentation, enablement assets, and best practices for teams consuming platform capabilities.
Required Skills & Experience
• Strong experience in platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, or data platform engineering.
• Proven ability to build foundational platform capabilities from scratch.
• Hands-on experience with observability, CI/CD, reliability engineering, and automation frameworks.
• Experience designing or supporting enterprise-scale data ingestion systems, including near-real-time pipelines.
• Ability to work effectively in environments with high ambiguity and evolving requiremen ts.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data platforms, including Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and/or Microsoft Fabric
• Experience implementing DevOps and CI/CD for data platforms using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions
• Expertise in platform observability and operational monitoring using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics
• 5+ year of relevant experience.

Salary Range: $64,000 - $108000 a year
