DevOps Engineer

The Opportunity:
As a DevOps engineer, you know how to create efficient and effective solutions so you can quickly deliver the best operational data. Booz Allen is the leading provider of AI services to the nation, and we're looking for a DevOps engineer with knowledge of AIOps, ML Ops, model ops, and data ops to develop tools and get them into the hands of those who need them most.

This project delivers a comprehensive suite of integrated testing tools for enterprise deployment, enabling assessment of AI system performance, cybersecurity posture, adversarial resilience, and explainability. It accomplishes this by designing and implementing cloud-based infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), maintaining and enhancing systems and user support, developing a web-based informationsharing platform and technical documentation, managing cybersecurity processes and AppSec compliance, and enabling CI/CD pipelines powered by Docker containerization.

You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker, Containerd, Podman, or Kaniko

  • 4+ years of experience with container orchestration technologies, such as Kubernetes, ECS, or ACA

  • 3+ years of experience with DevOps and automation platforms, such as GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or Flux

  • 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD workflows for medium or large software teams

  • 2+ years of experience with Cloud service providers, including AWS or Azure, and their associated services and tools

  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Knowledge of UNIX or Linux development and Bash scripting

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with programming, including Python, Java, C, or C++

  • Experience with Git technologies

  • Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
