Job Description
A leading enterprise in the insurance industry is seeking an experienced professional to lead a team of data specialists and engineers within its analytics and reporting division. This role focuses on team development, process ownership, and delivering trusted data solutions to meet evolving business needs. The position is hybrid, offering both flexibility and meaningful in-office collaboration.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support a cross-functional data team through coaching, performance feedback, and career development.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot, enhance, and resolve complex data issues.
  • Manage task assignments and process improvements to ensure streamlined operations across data pipelines and reporting workflows.
  • Analyze and improve recurring data feeds, reports, and workflows, identifying enhancement opportunities.
  • Coordinate onboarding and ongoing training initiatives for new team members.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Required:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in data operations or related leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing Data Warehouses or Data Marts.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of business intelligence tools and reporting systems.
Preferred:
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience in cloud environments (e.g., Azure DevOps, Data Studio).
  • Knowledge of financial or insurance-based data structures.
  • Software or data management certifications.
  • Experience with regulatory or compliance-related data processes.
