Description
SAIC is seeking a highly skilled TS/SCI Cleared Data Operations Technical Lead to design, manage, and deliver the foundational data infrastructure critical to transforming Special Operations Forces (SOF) Enterprise data into a strategic asset. This leadership role emphasizes ensuring comprehensive data engineering management, robust data quality, and scalable systems infrastructure to integrate advanced analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing data-driven decision-making capabilities across all warfighting functions within the SOF Enterprise.
Work is performed on site in: Tampa, FL.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing digital projects within the SOF Enterprise, strong expertise in SOF Data Operations processes, and a deep understanding of agile development methodologies.
The Data Operations Technical Lead will be responsible for:
  • Delivering and managing the SOF Enterprise's foundational data infrastructure to enable data transformation into actionable insights and critical strategic assets.
  • Leading comprehensive data, infrastructure, and engineering management efforts to ensure system scalability and stability.
  • Overseeing data quality, resource management, and integration of advanced analytics solutions across all SOF warfighting functions.
  • Collaborating with SOF Enterprise organizations to translate customer requests into digital support requirements and solutions.
  • Managing agile development processes tailored to the SOF Enterprise to deliver operationally effective systems in dynamic environments.
  • Ensuring reliable and scalable data operations infrastructure to support effective AI-driven solutions aligned with mission priorities.
  • Advising stakeholders on data requirements, infrastructure needs, and solution implementation to enhance data-driven operations.

Qualifications
Required Education and Years of Experience:
  • Bachelors degree with fifteen (15) years of experience or Masters Degree with twelve (12) years of experience.
    - Minimum of eight (8) years of experience managing digital projects in support of SOF Enterprise customers.
Required Clearance:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
The following are highly desirable for the role:
  • SOF Agile Development Processes: Three (3) years of experience managing SOF agile development processes.
  • SOF Data Operations Expertise: Three (3) years of experience managing SOF Data Operations processes and procedures.
  • Digital Support Request Management: Three (3) years of experience managing SOF digital support request requirements, including interpreting customer needs and assigning responsibilities to digital support teams.
Additional Desired Experience:
  • Expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data infrastructure in support of mission-critical operations.
  • Strong knowledge of data resource management, quality assurance, and data integration across enterprise systems.
  • Practical experience with agile development methodologies tailored to military and defense.
  • Proven capability to manage distributed teams and lead diverse groups in a high-demand operational setting.
  • Exceptional analytical, technical, and leadership skills to deliver innovative and operationally effective digital solutions.
