Operations Assistant
American Cruise Lines is the largest domestic cruise line with a growing fleet of riverboats and cruise ships that travel to the most amazing destinations across the United States. We are looking for an Operations Assistant to provide administrative expertise to support our growing fleet of cruise ships within our Operations team. The position reports to the Operations Manager and is a fully in-person position based out of our home office located in Guilford, CT.

The Operations department is involved in many aspects of cruise operations, and the Operations Assistant position will focus primarily on administrative tasks which support the processing of shipboard incidents and claims. The ideal candidate must be extraordinarily organized, accurate, detail-oriented, communicative, must enjoy working with a team and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing and tracking shipboard incidents.
  • Organizing, logging, and processing invoices.
  • Handling sensitive employee information with confidentiality.
  • Composing professional letters and emails.
  • Communicating with providers and shipboard personnel.
  • Flexibility to adapt to multiple projects with the ability to multi-task.
