Job description

Data Scientist/Ml Engineer

Support a broader team of data scientists and ML engineers focused on leveraging the power of ML models. Ability to optimize and analyze deep learning workloads on advanced hardware and software platforms. Design and set up ML environments in unison with data scientists and other architects to support ML applications using industry best practices, and creating and implementing well-informed strategies. Communicate to technical and non-technical audiences and guide more junior team members in execution of the developed vision.

Data Architect Assist the Data Assessment Team in constructing data monitoring and remediation reports, scorecards, and business rules. Functions as an on-site technical lead for the Data Assessment Team Assist the technical framework team in constructing and refining the data quality framework in Informatica IDQ Ensure the framework is scalable, repeatable, and well documented. Assists in refinement of the Data Quality playbook.

3 main skillsets the team is looking for:

  • Track record of strategic leadership in business, product, and technical challenges in an enterprise environment.
  • Great experience with analytic & ML solutions applied to Search and Recommender systems.
  • Experience developing software code in one or more programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, etc).

Key responsibilities:

  • Participate in the application technical design process
  • Develop programming specifications. Design, code and unit test application code using SDLC best practices
  • Complete estimates and work plans as appropriate for design, development, implementation and rollout tasks
  • Create technical system documentation and ensure that this documentation remains current throughout all phases of the SDLC
  • Communicate timely status, including any potential risks/issues to the appropriate teams to ensure that assignment releases are managed appropriately and that completed assignments are of the highest quality
  • Support and maintain applications utilizing required tools and technologies
  • Build partnerships across the application, business and infrastructure teams
