IFS Business Analyst - Erlanger, KY Or Chicago, IL or Decatur, IL  (Remote)
Position Summary: 
The Business Analyst (IFS ERP) will play a crucial role in the successful implementation and rollout of IFS ERP across new geographies. This individual will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, IT teams, and system integrators, ensuring that business requirements are effectively translated into system functionalities. The BA will also support process analysis, system testing, change management, and training initiatives.
Responsibilities:
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate functional and technical requirements.
  • Analyze existing business processes and assess how they map to IFS ERP functionalities.
  • Identify gaps between current business practices and IFS standard processes and propose solutions.
  • Ensure process standardization across different locations to align with corporate ERP strategies.
  • Support the end-to-end implementation of IFS ERP in new geographies, ensuring alignment with global standards.
  • Coordinate fit-gap analysis workshops and document outcomes for system configuration and customization.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, ensuring proper system configuration, data migration, and integrations.
  • Assist in defining role-based access controls and ensuring compliance with security policies.
  • Develop user training materials and conduct workshops for business users in new locations.
  • Define and execute test cases for system functionalities, including UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
  • Validate data migration accuracy and ensure business-critical reports function as expected.
  • Work with IT and functional teams to resolve defects and issues during testing phases.
  • Provide hypercare support post-go-live, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Gather feedback from users and recommend further system enhancements if needed.
  • Monitor KPIs related to ERP adoption and identify areas for continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience: 5+ years as a Business Analyst, with at least 2-3 years of experience in IFS ERP implementations.
  • IFS ERP Knowledge: Strong understanding of IFS modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HR).
  • Process Mapping: Proficiency in business process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN, Visio, Lucidchart).
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex business processes and recommend improvements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills to interact with business users, IT teams, and vendors.
  • Testing & UAT Support: Experience in defining and executing test scenarios for ERP systems.
  • Change Management: Understanding of ERP change impact and best practices for adoption.
Optional (Nice to Have):
  • Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA)
  • Hands-on experience with IFS Aurena interface
  • Knowledge of SQL for data analysis in IFS
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies for ERP projects
