Job Summary:
We are seeking a Redis Cloud / Valkey Support Terraform Developer with strong expertise in Terraform, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Redis Cloud, Valkey, and Google Cloud Memorystore to build, automate, and support enterprise-scale data caching platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing highly available, secure, and scalable caching solutions that improve application performance, reduce database load, and support mission-critical business applications. This role combines Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud engineering, platform support, performance optimization, and operational excellence to ensure reliable and efficient data caching services across Azure and Google Cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
  • Deploy, configure, administer, and support Redis Cloud, Valkey, and Google Cloud Memorystore environments.
  • Build and maintain reusable Terraform modules for Azure and Google Cloud Platform infrastructure deployments.
  • Automate provisioning, configuration, scaling, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Provide L2/L3 operational support for enterprise data caching platforms.
  • Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, replication, failover, and availability issues.
  • Implement highly available and resilient caching architectures to support business-critical applications.
  • Perform root cause analysis and develop preventive measures for recurring issues.
  • Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Application Development, Security, and Operations teams.
  • Monitor platform health, capacity utilization, latency, throughput, and service availability.
  • Support platform upgrades, migrations, patching, and maintenance activities.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, operational procedures, and architecture diagrams.
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or Platform Support.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Experience supporting enterprise caching technologies, including Redis Cloud, Valkey, or Memorystore.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
  • Experience deploying and managing cloud-native services in Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and caching architectures.
  • Experience with cloud networking concepts, including:
  • Azure Virtual Networks (VNet)
  • Google Cloud VPC Networks
  • Load Balancers
  • DNS
  • Firewall Rules
  • Private Endpoints
  • Hands-on Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience with Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Redis Enterprise and enterprise caching solutions.
  • Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform Cloud Certifications.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerized platforms.
  • Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
  • Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability architectures.
  • Understanding of security controls, encryption, secrets management, and compliance requirements.
