Job description

CTG is seeking an experienced Data Architect – Data Modernization, Snowflake to lead enterprise-scale data transformation and modernization initiatives for our client. This role will focus on architecting and delivering scalable cloud-based migration solutions leveraging Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, and modern ETL technologies.

Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 9 months

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead data modernization and cloud transformation initiatives across enterprise environments.
  • Design and implement scalable ETL and data migration solutions.
  • Architect data pipelines and modernization strategies involving:
    • Oracle to PostgreSQL
    • Oracle to SQL Server
    • Relational to NoSQL migrations
    • Data Warehouse to Data Lake transformations
  • Develop enterprise data models and architecture standards.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, DBAs, developers, and business stakeholders.
  • Create proof-of-concepts and technical solution prototypes.
  • Support cloud-native architectures using Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS technologies.
  • Optimize SQL queries, ETL workflows, and large-scale data processing solutions.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $130,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
