Job Overview:

Pay Range: $83.89hr - $88.89hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree related to Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or Information Resource Management or relevant work experience in BI space.
  • 7+ years of experience in leading BI projects and programs related to data engineering, data analytics, business intelligence, and data warehouse (On-prem or Cloud).
  • Hands-on experience related to Enterprise Data Warehouse, Snowflake Cloud, Business Intelligence tool sets and data warehouse utilities such as: SQL, Tableau.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive and execute the Enterprise Data Warehouse Cloud Migration project.
  • Plan and execute change management to engage, train, and inform a large cross-functional user base.
  • Lead and drive the project to architect and build data and analytics, ensuring quality and consistency of data across business functions.
  • Facilitate and lead different workstreams within the project.
  • Manage the code conversion, data foundation build, and reports and analytics migration efforts.
  • Gather business requirements and align with stakeholders.
  • Manage projects from concept to delivery using a hybrid method of Agile and Waterfall.
  • Provide stakeholders with status reports and execute on all phases of a project.
  • Conduct alignment sessions with business partners, IT counterparts, and internal teams.
  • Work independently with minimum supervision and provide structured analytical efforts.
  • Manage all aspects of program deliverables from project inception to implementation and resource oversight.
  • Lead the technical delivery, implementation, business change management, and adoption of new scalable and reliable data analytics and business intelligence solutions.
  • Ensure that the project is delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop a detailed project plan and timeline to monitor and track project progress.
  • Assist in defining project scope and objectives, ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Track and monitor daily tasks and overall progress for multiple workstreams.
  • Collaborate, communicate, and drive with business stakeholders and project team in all phases of the project.
  • Manage risks and escalations effectively.
  • Track deliverables assigned to each team member to ensure delivery completeness.
  • Manage changes to the project scope and schedule using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Work directly with business and technical teams to solve issues and remove roadblocks.
  • Assist in documenting best practices.
  • Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques.
  • Build and support collaborative relationships with internal matrix partners.
  • Maintain awareness of overall project health and current issues, blockers, risks, and mitigations.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in leading organizational change efforts using data tools and solutions to improve organization efficiency and change management.
  • Experience as a Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse Solution Architect, Data Engineer, or Technical Business System Analyst.

Skills:

  • Strong acumen with all Project Management Knowledge areas.
  • Strong understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Strong experience delivering projects using hybrid project methods: Waterfall and Agile.
  • Proven track record of proactively managing scope, timeline, risks, issues, and escalations.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand technical discussions between teams to identify and remove blockers.
  • Proven track record of project execution – analysis, design, develop, and deliver.
  • Ability to lead with minimal direction and handle ambiguity.
  • Assertive collaborator and team player.

Education and Experience:

  • Enterprise Data Warehouse, MDM, MDG, SQL, Snowflake, Tableau reporting experience.
  • Experience with Smartsheet, Microsoft Project or equivalent tools.
  • Familiarity with JIRA.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Scrum master experience is a plus.
