Job description

Job Objective: Responsible for all aspects of Christmas data including: data entry, Angel Tree labels, online angel adoption, reports using entered data, client information organization, mailings, and scheduling for distribution.
Essential Functions:
  • Organize Christmas office and computer equipment for daily operation of Christmas program
  • Direct the daily operation and supervise volunteers working for Christmas data entry program
  • Responsible for all data generated reports, client information, mailings, and vouchers for the Christmas assistance program
  • Responsible for providing the data for Angel Tree's family adoption program.
  • Responsible for comparing data with other Christmas programs in the community to ensure duplications are handled in a timely manner
  • Provide assistance during Angel Tree Distribution at the distribution center with verifying data.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent; two years' post-secondary education preferred
Experience: Prior experience serving a diverse population
Certifications/Licenses: None
Skills/Abilities:

Supervisory Responsibility: Data Entry Volunteers
Physical Requirements: Include speaking, hearing, vision and manual dexterity; standing up to three hours per day; sitting up to five hours per day; bending, squatting, and walking; lifting, pulling and pushing of materials up to 15 pounds. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions of this job.
Travel: Local
Driving: Must possess a valid driver's license from the state of residence; must be approved through the Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personnel vehicle for Salvation Army business.
Working Conditions: Work is performed in a typical office and warehouse environments; some evenings and weekends required.
