We are seeking an experienced Data Manager to provide operational ownership of Rudolph Libbe Group's enterprise data platform. This role is responsible for the delivery, governance, prioritization, and day-to-day management of data and analytics initiatives. The Data Manager serves as the primary layer between strategic leadership and hands-on BI resources, ensuring data is reliable, secure, well-governed, and aligned with business priorities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
-Own the day-to-day operation of the enterprise data warehouse, including data ingestion, validation, refresh cadence, and availability.
-Manage and prioritize the data and BI backlog, balancing new development, governance activities, and operational support.
-Provide leadership and direction to BI and data resources, including work planning, review of deliverables, and quality assurance.
-Enforce data governance standards, including data quality rules, field approval processes, sensitivity classification, and access controls.
-Partner with business stakeholders to define authoritative data sources and reporting standards.
-Ensure documentation is maintained for data sources, integrations, refresh schedules, and known limitations.
-Coordinate with IS infrastructure and security teams to ensure data environments meet organizational security and compliance requirements.
-Identify risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities within the data platform and recommend corrective actions.
SKILLS
-Data warehouse operations and lifecycle management.
-Backlog management and prioritization using Agile or DevOps practices.
