Data Management & Knowledge Management Analyst Position Type: Full-Time Location: On-Site – Fort Belvoir, VA Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week Clearance Requirement: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Management & Knowledge Management Analyst to support headquarters-level operations at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. This position provides data management, program analysis, workflow support, records management, and knowledge management services in support of senior leadership and operational staff. The successful candidate will collect, organize, analyze, track, and present information that improves leadership visibility, reporting accuracy, task management, and operational continuity. The role requires strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to transform complex information into professional reports, dashboards, presentations, trackers, and decision-support products. This is an on-site position supporting a fast-paced government environment where collaboration, responsiveness, and professionalism are essential. Key Responsibilities
-Data Management & Reporting
-Collect, validate, organize, and analyze data from multiple stakeholders and information systems.
-Develop and maintain databases, trackers, dashboards, repositories, shared drives, and reporting tools.
-Generate recurring reports, metrics, executive summaries, and leadership briefings.
-Support data quality initiatives, data validation efforts, and audit readiness activities.
-Respond to data calls and reporting requirements from leadership and program stakeholders.
-Knowledge Management & Records Administration
-Develop and maintain knowledge repositories, document libraries, records systems, and information-sharing processes.
-Manage document control, version management, records retention, and archival activities.
-Organize institutional knowledge to support continuity of operations and workforce effectiveness.
-Ensure information remains accurate, current, accessible, and compliant with established policies and -procedures. Program & Workflow Support
-Develop and maintain workflow tools, action-item trackers, project logs, and management products.
-Support process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency and visibility across the organization.
-Coordinate with leadership, technical personnel, and administrative staff to gather, validate, and disseminate information.
-Translate stakeholder requirements into practical workflows, management tools, and repeatable business processes.
-Support implementation and sustainment of approved systems, tools, and organizational initiatives. Executive Support
-Prepare professional presentations, briefing materials, reports, and executive-level summaries.
-Convert technical, operational, and administrative information into clear and concise products suitable for leadership review.
-Support meetings, working groups, action-item tracking, and follow-up activities.
-Provide timely and accurate information to support informed decision-making. Training & User Support
-Provide user support and guidance for data systems, collaboration platforms, and management tools.
-Assist with onboarding, training, and adoption of enterprise applications and SaaS platforms.
-Develop process documentation, user guides, and training materials as required. Required Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Management, Project Management, Data Management, Knowledge Management, Health Administration, or a related discipline.
-5+ years of experience supporting data management, database administration, knowledge management, records management, project coordination, workflow improvement, or program analysis activities.
-Experience managing enterprise databases, SaaS platforms, or information management systems.
-Experience creating executive-level reports, presentations, dashboards, and decision-support products.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
-Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment. -Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. Preferred Qualifications
-Master’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Management, Knowledge Management, Public Administration, or related field.
-Experience serving as a Database Administrator, Records Manager, Program Coordinator, Implementation Specialist, or Project Lead.
-Experience supporting senior leaders, headquarters organizations, government agencies, academic institutions, healthcare administration, or other complex enterprise environments.
-Experience conducting internal audits, compliance reviews, records management activities, and process improvement initiatives.
-Experience implementing, configuring, or supporting SaaS platforms and enterprise information systems.
-Familiarity with SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, Army Vantage, ADVANA, or similar enterprise collaboration and reporting tools.
