Job description

Sellers & Associates, LLC (S&A) is seeking a Data Management/Manager Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support SOF Global Services Delivery. Provides senior-level technical, operational, and strategic expertise in support of Special Operations Forces (SOF) missions worldwide. Advises leadership, supports mission planning and execution, enhances workforce readiness through training oversight, and ensures delivery of high-quality services aligned with customer requirements, operational priorities, and contract objectives.

Experience Level: Senior

Location: Tampa, FL

Travel Allocation: 10-20%

Clearance: Top Secret


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance and recommendations on SOF mission support, service delivery, and operational requirements. 
  • Provide input and direction into the development of strategic planning for SOF related education and training.  
  • Maintain knowledge of current SOF doctrine and emerging technologies. 
  • Support planning, coordination, and execution of global services for SOF customers across multiple theaters. 
  • Coordinates with SOF International partners to develop relationships and leverage collective experience. 
  • Analyze operational needs and develop solutions that improve readiness, efficiency, and mission success. 
  • Coordinate with government leadership, military personnel, contractors, and partner organizations. 
  • Review policies, procedures, and operational processes to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards. 
  • Assist with program management activities including schedules, deliverables, risk mitigation, and performance tracking. 
  • Develop reports, briefings, white papers, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership. 
  • Oversee training programs to ensure personnel are properly prepared to support SOF mission requirements. 
  • Evaluate training effectiveness, identify capability gaps, and recommend improvements to training materials and delivery methods. 
  • Provide instruction, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to program staff and customer personnel as needed. 
  • Identify emerging mission requirements and recommend process improvements or capability enhancements. 


Requirements:   

  • Minimum 8 years of data management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent military/operational experience
  • 10+ years supporting USSOCOM, Theater Special Operations Commands, or related SOF missions
  • Experience in SOF operations, global mission support, logistics, intelligence, communications, or training
  • Experience developing, managing, or overseeing training programs
  • Ability to work in austere, high-tempo, and multinational environments
  • Ability to prepare executive-level briefings and technical documentation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
