Position Description:

Designs, develops and modifies complex and major software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design. Creates and maintains data aggregation, recommendations, and insights in tools and capabilities for enterprise clients and associates. Leads the execution of intelligence roadmaps. Designs, develops, and maintains scalable models, and processes for array of interconnected tools and capabilities. Works within an agile environment to lead data analysts, business analysts and data engineers through the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Designs and implements SQL based processes to automate data workflows and enhance intelligence and reporting efficiency. Directs software developers using Java and reporting/database tools. Blends technology and business expertise to coach, mentor, and develop associates. Plans and allocates resources within and across organizations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides reports, presents consolidated views of clients, and supports sales compensation processes.

  • Supports enterprise-wide financial operations for software products and services in workplace investment, money movement, trade execution, and settlement reconciliation.

  • Provides technical guidance to chapter members to resolve business problems.

  • Develops and directs software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.

  • Partners with stakeholders to establish chapter standards, influence strategic decisions, and build solutions domain.

  • Influences strategic backlog and prioritization decisions related to area of expertise.

  • Measures performance through established objectives and metrics and delivers agreed upon business, technology, and people results.

  • Aligns chapter members across squads and product areas to ensure best utilization of talent and builds learning opportunities and day content to develop skills.

  • Sets and applies standards for performance and established roadmaps.

  • Shares insights, industry practices, and developments across the organization.

  • Creates an environment that fosters goal achievement while enabling associates to realize their full potential.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and six (6) years of experience as a Director, Product Management (or closely related occupation) designing models for insight packages, and developing the front-end using Flask, Python, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS within the financial services industry.

Or, alternatively, Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and four (4) years of experience as a Director, Product Management (or closely related occupation) designing models for insight packages, and developing the front-end using Flask, Python, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS within the financial services industry.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

  • Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") facilitating, visioning, road mapping, identifying issues, and forming hypotheses and solutions for Agile projects, using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; and supporting decisions with a data-focused approach, and breaking down objectives into concise stories with well-defined value and acceptance criteria using Jira and Jira Align.

  • DE designing, developing, and maintaining scalable tools to support multiple current and future uses, using Visio, PowerPoint, or Confluence; and aligning timelines and deployment practices, and designing solutions with data platforms, Cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and overall Dev-Ops processes and requirements, using GitHub, Jenkins, and Snowflake.

  • DE contributing to the development of artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) models and performing dataset analyses that generate business insights, using PyCharm or Visual Studio, leveraging Python libraries Sckit Learn and Pandas.

  • DE writing scripts -- select, joins, aggregation, and grouping -- to query data using SQL; and performing baseline product functionality testing using SQL Developer, DBeaver, or Toad (Quest Software), to validate product enhancements and measure the product enhancement impact using data in Snowflake.

Salary: $150,000.00 to $204,090.00/year.
