A Day in the LifeThe Labeling Specialist drives the development, execution, and continuous improvement of product labeling to support successful product launches, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. This role partners closely with Packaging Engineering, Product Development, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, and global stakeholders to deliver accurate, compliant, and market-ready labeling solutions.

We're working a minimum of 4-5 days a week onsite as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Lead the creation, review, approval, and release of labeling components that support new product development and commercialized products.

  • Drive development of labeling design inputs, content specifications, and final label artwork to ensure alignment with product, regulatory, and business requirements.

  • Manage labeling project timelines, proactively identify risks, and ensure on-time delivery of labeling milestones.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to resolve labeling challenges and accelerate project execution.

  • Review and approve package labeling to ensure compliance with documented design requirements, applicable regulations, and internal standards.

  • Identify and implement process, system, and workflow improvements that enhance labeling quality, efficiency, and scalability.

  • Coordinate and oversee translation activities for global labeling to support international product registrations and market launches.

  • Maintain and optimize labeling data within enterprise labeling systems and databases, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and traceability.

  • Create, edit, and validate labeling content for medical devices and related products while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.

  • Ensure labeling artwork, proofs, and production deliverables meet regulatory, legal, quality, and corporate branding requirements.

  • Monitor evolving domestic and international labeling regulations and proactively incorporate changes into labeling processes.

  • Evaluate promotional and commercial materials to ensure consistency with approved product claims and supporting data.

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives by assessing labeling processes, tools, systems, and policies and driving innovative solutions.
    Required Knowledge and Experience:Requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience.
    Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success managing labeling or packaging projects within a regulated industry environment.

  • Ability to quickly learn, adopt, and optimize new digital tools, labeling systems, and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions.

  • Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to identify risks and ensure data accuracy and compliance.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and experience utilizing business systems to support operational processes.

  • Experience collaborating with global, cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and business outcomes.

  • Proven knowledge of medical device labeling regulations, standards, and global compliance requirements.

  • Experience developing, reviewing, and approving product labeling within highly regulated environments.

  • Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator or other graphic design and labeling software tools.

  • Strong proofreading, editing, and content management skills with exceptional focus on quality and accuracy.

  • Experience working in Agile environments, contributing to continuous improvement and accelerated project delivery.

  • Ability to leverage data analytics, automation, and AI tools to improve labeling efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
