Job Title: Information Technology Co-op (Spring 2027)

Location: Wickliffe, OH

How You'll Make an Impact

During your co-op rotations, you will work closely with experienced professionals as an active member of a diverse and innovative team to provide safe, reliable, and smooth operations for Lubrizol. This opportunity will provide you with real-world experience to bring to your future full-time career. As a member of the program, you will explore a variety of opportunities in the main areas of our department: Data Intelligence, SAP & ERP Services, Governance & Process Excellence, and Application & Infrastructure.

Data Intelligence

Students work to develop and implement interactive visualization tools. Utilizing complex datasets, you will gain a robust skill set in data analyzation and algorithm assessment. The teams available within Data Intelligence include, but are not limited to:

  • Data Engineering
  • Data Platform Development
  • Data Visualization

SAP & ERP Services

Students work to design and deliver solutions for our internal and external business partners. Utilizing our enterprise resource planning system, SAP, and other integrated software, you will gain a valuable skill set in business operations and customer relations. Students working in SAP & ERP Services support a variety of teams and processes within a single rotation.

Governance & Process Excellence

Students work to design, implement, and monitor systems and processes to improve organizational efficiency and deliver results. Utilizing IT Service Management (ITSM), project management (Agile and Waterfall), and process mapping software, you will gain valuable experience in project management and process excellence. The teams available within Governance & Process Excellence include, but are not limited to:

  • Project Management
  • Business Process Excellence

Application & Infrastructure

Students work to create, support, and enhance new and existing applications for internal use. Utilizing an array of tools to ensure secure and efficient solutions, you will gain a resourceful skill set in automated scripting, workflows, and business process. The teams available within Application and Infrastructure include, but are not limited to:

  • Automation and Integration
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Cloud
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • E-Commerce
  • Hardware Services
  • Hybrid Data Centers
  • Low-Code Applications
  • Modern Workplace
  • Network Operations and Engineering

Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • Active student pursuing an undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or other business or engineering related fields.
  • Able to commit to three or more alternating semesters.

  • Students with a 3.0 or greater GPA will be given priority consideration.
