Description:

Position Summary

Provides functional support for procurement BI prototype development and analyzes data intelligence tools for Navy procurement reporting. Combines DoD acquisition domain expertise with data analytics skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide functional support for Navy ePS BI prototype development
  • Assess and evaluate BI tools for Navy procurement reporting (Appian Process HQ, Advana)
  • Develop strategic plans for Navy procurement BI advancement
  • Analyze procurement data to support decision-making and compliance
  • Collaborate with data engineers and program leadership on BI requirements
  • Support high-visibility DoN data and analytics initiatives
  • Create documentation and briefing materials on BI capabilities and roadmap

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $90,000 – $135,000 annually, with a target midpoint of $110,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, certifications, and geographic location. Avum offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical (Cigna), dental and vision (Principal), 401(k), PTO, education reimbursement, and certification reimbursement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business analytics, data science, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement analytics or data intelligence
  • Knowledge of DoD procurement processes and data systems
  • Active Secret clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Proficiency with BI and data visualization tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Experience with Appian Process HQ or Advana
  • DAWIA certification
  • Python or SQL programming skills
