Job description

MTSI is seeking to hire a Systems Integration Manager to serve as the primary technical authority and strategic lead for the High Accuracy Detection and Exploitation System (HADES) program. This candidate will serve as a critical link between internal engineering and the broader Army enterprise, acting as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, Army Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and other Army Programs.
This role will provide the direction for our Systems Integration Lab (SIL). By synthesizing feedback from Army experts, facilitating the development and testing of advanced technology to meet the mission needs of today and tomorrow. A central part of the mission is overseeing systems integration to the HADES MOSA Digital Backbone. Ensuring that this "plug-and-play" architecture allows different sensors and tools to communicate flawlessly across the aircraft's central data highway, keeping the system flexible, upgradable, and ready for any future threat.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the effort to integrate various sensors and mission tools into the HADES MOSA Digital Backbone. Ensure this central data highway supports a "plug-and-play" environment where new technology can be added or updated without rebuilding the entire system.
  • Use input from Army IPTs and SMEs to direct development and testing within the SIL. Ensure the lab environment accurately tests how new components interact with the Digital Backbone to meet current and future mission needs.
  • Act as the main bridge between the lab and the Army enterprise. Coordinate with Army Programs and SMEs to ensure that the integration of new technologies aligns with larger military objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external vendors. Oversee their technical progress and ensure their hardware/software is fully compatible with the HADES MOSA architecture.
  • Be the face of the program at conferences and high-level presentations. Clearly communicate the successes of our modular integration and the capabilities of the Digital Backbone to Army leadership and industry partners.
  • Represent the program's technical interests within Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Ensure that integration milestones are met and that the HADES platform remains fully compatible with other Army systems.

Required Qualifications
  • Active Secret clearance minimum; Top Secret/SCI preferred.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 7 to 10 years of technical management, liaison roles, or systems engineering experience within DoW programs.
  • Demonstrated experience managing the integration of complex systems, specifically focusing on modular, "plug-and-play" architectures and central data networks (Digital Backbones).
  • Proven ability to take high-level requirements from expert groups (IPTs/SMEs) and turn them into concrete plans for lab development and testing.
  • Strong background acting as a primary point of contact for subcontractors and navigating complex Army organizational structures.
  • Experience presenting technical roadmaps, modular architecture benefits, and program updates to senior military leaders and at industry conferences.
