The Role
The Manager, Advanced Data Analytics and Insights acts as a domain expert who proposes and delivers targeted research and advanced analytics required to support business decision making. This role participates in multiple projects and requires independence, critical thinking, and confidence in applying statistics and analytics techniques. This role also serves as a strong business communicator with leadership, sponsors, and peers, collaborating with them to create key findings for moderately sophisticated business problems. The Manager is an individual contributor and does not directly oversee staff.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • Bachelor's or equivalent Degree with 4 years of experience working with data insight solutioning. Preferred BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Basic competence in translating business problem into Analytical/Quantitative/Advanced Analytics
  • Knowledge in Business Statistics, Quantitative methods with ability to deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment. Experience using statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns for diagnostic and predictive analytics
  • Expertise with data workflow tools, solid understanding of data and database concepts, tools, and technologies with ability to optimize and drive scale
  • Proficient with writing and decoding SQL and Python, and working experience with Python libraries
  • Proficient with BI (Business Intelligence) and analytical tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and Power BI
  • Takes a consultative approach understanding needs of others and regularly communicating ideas or suggestions in terms that lead to actionable outcomes and building lasting partnerships with stakeholders
  • Understanding of Data insight life cycle and experience working with large data sets, preferred
