Job description

Job Title: Industrial EngineerJob Description

We are seeking two qualified Industrial Engineers to support a comprehensive analysis of current production and future product planning data within our organization. The focus of this role will be on identifying correlations between product design, Industrial Engineering metrics, quality performance, and production output. The successful candidates will validate data accuracy, build sustainable dashboards and tools, and deliver actionable insights and recommendations to leadership to inform business decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Gather, consolidate, and assess existing Industrial Engineering data across plants and programs.
  • Identify and analyze correlations between Industrial Engineering metrics, quality data, and production performance.
  • Perform data validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of source data with a target of less than 5% discrepancy.
  • Design, build, and maintain a sustainable Power BI (or other) dashboard displaying Industrial Engineering metrics by Plant and Program.
  • Leverage AI tools and techniques to accelerate data gathering, analysis, and dashboard development.
  • Develop tools for utilizing data to assess future program content and labor.
  • Collaborate with multiple data owners and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely data input.
  • Deliver regular updates, insights, and recommendations to leadership within the organization.
  • Update tools and strategy to ensure alignment with leadership recommendations.
Essential Skills
  • Industrial Engineering expertise.
  • Proficiency in Power BI and experience in building real-time data dashboards.
  • Experience within an Automotive Manufacturing Environment.
  • Educational and/or professional experience as an Industrial Engineer, including time studies, process engineering, tool development, and data acquisition.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related field.
  • Familiarity with the manufacturing environment and Industrial Engineering processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

This is a Contract position based out of Dearborn, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $41.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
