Trusted by leading AI labs, startups, and global enterprises, CoreWeave combines superior infrastructure performance with deep technical expertise to accelerate breakthroughs and turn compute into capability. Founded in 2017, CoreWeave became a publicly traded company (Nasdaq: CRWV) in March 2025. Learn more at www.coreweave.com.

What You'll Do:

The Supply Chain Strategy & Transformation (SCST) team is responsible for designing and scaling the operating model for how CoreWeave plans, sources, builds, and delivers data center capacity for our customers. We partner closely with Supply Chain, Product Engineering, Data Center Operations, and the Enterprise Engineering teams to turn strategy into execution and measurable impact.

This position sits within our dedicated Supply Chain Master Data Governance function within SCST responsible for hands-on Master Data management & applying best practices across Plan, Source, Build, Deliver, Sustain, and to define how Master Data is created, governed, and used across the network.

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Master Data Specialist to join our Supply Chain Data Strategy & Master Data Governance team. In this hands-on role, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of master data across supply chain domains—including Item, vendors, Location etc. —while driving data governance best practices and facilitating the organization's Data Governance Council. You will serve as the subject matter expert and primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring master data is accurate, consistent, and fit for purpose across all enterprise systems. This role reports to the Head of Supply Chain Data Strategy and is based out of any one of our Hub locations at Sunnyvale, CA, Livingston, NJ or Bellevue, WA.

In this role you will:

  • Lead and facilitate Data Governance Council meetings—including agenda preparation, stakeholder coordination, meeting facilitation, documentation of decisions, and tracking of action items.
  • Develop, maintain, and publish data governance policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines for master data domains.
  • Establish and manage data stewardship programs across supply chain functions, onboarding and training data stewards.
  • Maintain the business glossary and data dictionary; ensure metadata is current and accessible.
  • Monitor compliance with governance policies and escalate issues as needed.
  • Champion a data-driven culture and advocate for master data quality across the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with Procurement, Logistics, Warehousing, Planning, DC Ops and Finance teams to understand data needs and resolve data issues.
  • Support supply chain projects (ERP implementations, system upgrades, migrations) as the master data workstream lead.
  • Analyze and report on data quality KPIs and governance metrics; present findings to senior leadership.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to streamline master data request, approval, and maintenance workflows.

Who You Are:

  • 8–10 years of hands-on experience in master data management, data governance, or data operations within a supply chain environment.
  • Deep expertise in supply chain master data domains: materials/items, vendors, customers, BOMs, plant/storage, and logistics data.
  • Proven experience facilitating governance council or data stewardship meetings with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Oracle NetSuite, or equivalent); working knowledge of MDM tools (Informatica, SAP MDG, Stibo, Reltio, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks (DAMA-DMBOK, DGI, or equivalent) and their practical application.
  • Experience developing and enforcing data standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to perform data profiling, quality assessment, and root cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills; ability to present complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.

Preferred: (if applicable)

  • CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) or equivalent data governance certification.
  • Experience with data quality tools (Informatica DQ, Talend, Collibra, or similar).
  • Familiarity with data catalog and metadata management platforms (Collibra, Alation, Atlan).
  • Exposure to cloud data lake platforms (Snowflake, Azure Data Lake, Databricks).
  • Experience supporting global supply chain operations in Data Center Build.
  • Project management experience (PMP or Agile certification a plus).

Wondering if you're a good fit? We believe in investing in our people, and value candidates who can bring their own diversified experiences to our teams – even if you aren't a 100% skill or experience match. Here are a few qualities we've found compatible with our team. If some of this describes you, we'd love to talk.

  • You love to bring order to complexity. Duplicate vendor records, misaligned material attributes, inconsistent UOMs — these aren't just data problems to you, they're opportunities. You take ownership of master data quality across the full lifecycle and know that clean, governed data is the foundation every supply chain decision rests on.
  • You're curious about the downstream impact of master data. You ask "what breaks downstream if we change this field?" before making a move. You understand how a single master data attribute touches procurement, planning, finance, and logistics — and you use that knowledge to make governance decisions that actually hold up in production.
  • You're an expert in facilitating alignment across the business. You've run governance council meetings where stakeholders don't agree — and left with a documented decision and clear owners. You can translate data standards into language that lands with a warehouse manager and a VP of Finance alike, and you know that policy without buy-in is just a document no one reads.
